From intimate indie dramas and thought-provoking documentaries to high-energy premieres, our curated selection celebrates the diversity of not only the actors who worked tirelessly to create these films but also for those behind the cameras and there mastery of the cinematic arts. our first screen is for those who into an oldie but a goodie film, these are films that have been around for decades now and have played key crucial factors in the lives of black people and perfectly captures their essence, these include pulp fiction, 12 years a slave, boyz n the hood and the black Klansman.
Our second screen is for those looking for a more modern and up to date film each with own strong roster of young new age actors, and old but still good actors, these films include the harder they fall, they cloned tyrone, the blackening and sorry to bother you.
It wouldn’t be a film festival if we didn’t have films for all the members especially are youngest members who have accompanied their parents or have came of the their own accord these will be in screen 3, these films include hidden figures, the help, remember the titans and kevin’s hart’s comedic documentary of black history month.
